All praise is due to Allah, Lord, Creator, Nourisher and Sustainer of the worlds. Peace and salutations upon His Most Beloved, the Choicest of His creation, Sayyiduna Wa Moulana Rasoolullah SAW; and upon all his pure household RA, companions RA and those who follow in righteousness.
Once again; Allah SWT has afforded us, through His infinite Grace and Mercy, to find ourselves on the dawn of the holy month of Ramadaan. We besiege His forgiveness and pardon, and ask Him to grant us the opportunity to observe the holy month of Ramadaan and everyday of our lives, in a way that will take us closer to Him.
Ramadaan, the month of immense blessings, is the month of patience and perseverance. It is given this name because it burns ones sins away, and therefore, the one who observes it’s fasting correctly to the best of his ability, is free from sins like he was on the day when he was born. it is undoubtedly, the greatest month of the year, and being such, according to the Hadith of our Beloved Prophet SAW, “Whosoever does an a voluntary act during it is like one who has done a compulsory act during any other time of the year, and whosoever does a compulsory act, is like the one who does 70 compulsory acts during any other time of the year.” Charity during this month is the best of charities and a `Umrah during this month is equal to a Hajj.
We are thus, encouraged and inspired to follow the Sunnah of our Illustrious Master, Sayyiduna Rasoolullah SAW in every aspect and moment, so that we can attain eternal success and happiness. With these few words, Habibia Soofie Saheb Masjid wishes all Muslims, a beautiful month of Ramadaan.
