This year, the holy month of Ramadaan came quickly and went even quicker than previous years, a sign of the approach of the last day and the absence of blessings in time.
The Ramadaan night program every year at Habibia Soofie Masjid starts with Esha Salaah, and then a 5-7 minute talk before the commencement of the Taraweeh. This year the Taraweeh Salaah was lead by the following Huffaaz:
Sheikh Mas'ood Ahmad Kagee, Sheikh Sulaymaan Benjamin, Hafiz Ebrahim Bagus, Moulana Luqmaan Kagee, Hafiz Tahir Ebrahim, Hafiz Naqeeb Kagee, Hafiz Siddeeq Parker, Hafiz Habib Parker, Hafiz Abdul Kareem Parker and Sheikh `Abdul `Azeez.
The talks were presented every night by Moulana Goolam Hafiz Rooknodien, Moulana Luqmaan Kagee and Hafiz `Abdul Kareem Parker.
The Jumu`ah lectures were delivered by Sheikh Fahruddeen Owaisi, Sheikh `Abdur Rahmaan Alexander, Sheikh Ebrahim Moos and Sheikh Mahdi Hendricks. Every week the Athaan was preceded by a recitation of the Holy Qur`aan by a guest Qari.
This Ramadaan was a month full of blessings and light. Habibia Soofie Masjid offers its heartfelt thanks to all those who made this Ramadaan a month that was thoroughly enjoyed.
