There are great sawaabs to fast on the 10th, 20th and 30th of this month. Also on the first night and Day of this month, 4 rakaats Salaah should be read, reading 9 times Surah Ikhlaas after Surah Fateha in each rakaat.

Al-Imam Al-Hafidh Jalaluddeen As-Suyuti RA, one of the greatest scholars of Islam says in Al-Hawi Lil Fatawa: “To commemorate the Mawlid, which is basically gathering people together, reciting parts of the Qu'ran, narrating stories about the Prophet's birth and the signs that accompanied it, then serving food, and afterwards, departing, is one of the good innovations; and the one who practices it gets rewarded, because it involves venerating the status of the Prophet and expressing joy at his honourable birth.”
