Al-Imam Al-Hafidh Jalaluddeen As-Suyuti RA, one of the greatest scholars of Islam says in Al-Hawi Lil Fatawa: “To commemorate the Mawlid, which is basically gathering people together, reciting parts of the Qu'ran, narrating stories about the Prophet's birth and the signs that accompanied it, then serving food, and afterwards, departing, is one of the good innovations; and the one who practices it gets rewarded, because it involves venerating the status of the Prophet and expressing joy at his honourable birth.”

A program entitled “MARHABA RASOOLALLAH” ,consisting of Nasheed ,Qaseeda and Na’at Shareef in Arabic, Urdu, English, Turkish and Swahili followed by a Qalbi Thikr after salaatul ishaa. The Habibia Youth Forum will be selling braai earlier In the evening.
